About Us

David Hobbs Honda doors first opened in May 1987 as a family run business at the request of Honda North America. Honda traces its roots back to 1959 when Soichiro Honda entered his first automotive race, shorthly thereafter building his own race team and cars. Honda went on to build a great racing organization that continues to this day. Later getting into the consumer automobile market, Honda North America Manufacturing was just getting started in the 1980s and being familiar with David Hobbs from the racing circuits asked David to represent Honda in the Milwaukee market. David Hobbs continues to be a family run business with David at the helm, eldest son Gregory managing day to day business and Guy Hobbs managing the Business Development / Customer Satisfaction Department. When you phone Hobbs Honda there is a very likely chance that a Hobbs will actually answer your call.
Not only is this a family run business but we consider many of our staff members "family" as well. Bruce Kolz started as a lot attendant when the doors first opened in '87 and is now our General Manager, from back office to the front office! Jeff Bryant currently working in the Service Scheduling Dept. has also been here the full 20 plus years. I am sure a lot of you know Jeff as he certainly knows you and your cars. We also have three factory trained technicians that have been with Hobbs Honda since the beginning and they definitely know their way around any Honda or Acura.
